Test server Please!

It's not a test server if we don't get to test out the new stuff they have planned to make sure that it's any good.

They said they be adding test servers to test upcoming patch. FFXI is going to open up test servers o.o which i think it very late at this point but w/e ffxiv going to have it also.

we are all on test server you know? :/

You guys are making a lot of jokes, and I'd laugh if I wasn't a little worried about the battle system.

Agree we need a test server, of course if SE do provide such a thing they need to have an in game bug report system as well, something which was sorely missing in alpha/beta testing.

Those who are like "lol what we're on is test server" oh so I you're testing out the new battle system? The new stats system? Companies? Dungeons? Please tell me how I can test this stuff cuse Besaid doesn't have it!

if we provided a team environment with the fruits of their work not finished (or construction) and buggy, it would be worse for them than what we had to exit the game because we would take this as a true version .
we're just impatient.

when the system is developed and run in the mechanisms of the game then yes at this point can be tested effectively without making conclusion (like that will happen on FFXI).
But now it's really not the time, the game has yet to prove a lot.

I think this is more that the player are impatient and want to control the dev team even more than with just the forum. There's no reason to do this, they already have their own testing team and the majority of the crowd here aren't exactly in it for the Quality Assurance. One ignored gripe with an implemented feature, and you can bet the offended player will be squealing all over the forum for support, causing even more headaches.

We're not going to get daily reports from them, no matter how much we ask.
