Yeah, leveling a Tank or a Healer isn't exactly going to get you a fast queue time as a DD.

It's weird that it's always felt the opposite for me. Whenever I am on my Dragoon I am waiting for an hour or more for the DF but if I switch to, say, my Puglist or Black Mage I'm usually waiting for double what the timer says (example: timer says 8 minutes, I'm waiting about 16 minutes). Maybe the DF just hates Dragoons (like everybody else).

few tanks as always and so this problem still persists eh.
the tank mount was supposed to be more incentive for tanks to qeue but seeing as the these stats are only counted for coils and ex primals the df will remain without this role still. expect the problem only to get worse imo.

There was a weird spot a few weeks before 2.2 where CT queues as my bard or healer were 30 minutes and up, but when I queued as monk I waited less than 10 minutes. This happened 4 CTs in a row, so yes separated queue.

It makes sense, though it doesn't make it any easier farming the shikaree chestpiece if I queue as tank.

I rolled a war and got to 50, but I have a new problem... I still can't level my Archer to 30! DR still takes over 30 minutes!! Please help! I really want to unlock all the jobs!!

My Wife is a warrior 50 and is currently leveling PLD level 34 I think. I'm leveling WHM. And if we queue up for duty roulette trying to get into the same party, I as a WHM have been withdrawing for 2-5 mins before we get into the same party, So I think there is a shortage of both Healer and Tanks.

Most ppl are playing the Classes they like and i think that is ok.

Just think about it... What if suddenly we would have to many Tanks?
Then Healers and DD would be Fine but the Tanks would cry lol.

Thats no Solution. The Problem is the 1/1/2, 2/2/4 System i think but
SE does not want to change that.

Yeah, having a 1/1/3 2/2/6 or a 1/1/1/2 2/2/2/4 system would alleviate a lot of the issues but it will always be there in some capacity. And hasn't ff always had the 4 person party? So changing the base would conflict with lore?

As a quick note, it also depends on what languages you actually join. I've been doing well just activating all languages (french, japanese, german, english) and most groups will talk english even if they're all french except for you etc.
It does definitely decrease waiting times, though it might be a little troublesome sometimes (there ARE actually people in this game that can't speak english, so sometimes you'll be left out etc.).

Time to level a Healer or Tank class maybe, and if you answer is, but I don't want to, then you only have yourself to blame.
