Yes the books are the best part but if they could have get rid of the cost in myth it would have been even better.

Nahhhhh. You shouldn't get handed an i100 Relic just for completing the books, the Myth farming is part of the challenge. At least with that you're working toward something and you know how much you've progressed every step of the way. It's a good grind, as opposed to the Atma bit. But, tbh, the Atma bit was just there for the PS4 launch to be all "Hey! Look! Level 50s out in all the areas! This entire game isn't just instanced dungeons!". It'll probably get adjusted in 2.25/2.3, so complaining won't really do much that won't get done already.

Doing for hours on ends the same thing is not a good grind, what's good with the books is that you have a lot of different activities in different places to do, with Dungeon runs for myths you only rush the same dungeon for 4 hours to get your book, compared to that i prefered atma farming where you you have 12 areas to play in.

so when does the base weapon damage go up? is it when you get all 9 books or somewhere in between? I'm on book 3 atm for my axe. I'm am seriously considering this my raid weapon till the high allagan seeing as the new axe has pretty shitty stats that I already have and/or can obtain by switching out some equipment. Acc is not an issue as I can easily go up to 530 w/o food and thats just with the i90 gears. Plus the conqueror looks like a signboard and I really hate that.

Congratulations, but why does everyone demand that the droprate should be increased.

Yoshi stated that the questline for the relic upgrades this patch was supposed to take you a long time and that most players wouldn't have it done by 2.3, the intention was to give you something to work towards, but seems most people are just farming fates for it non stop and then burning themselves out to get it done right away :/
