How is the game for returning players?

you better not return then, becaues it is "easy" to do everything at lvl 50 :D

ps: lvling is easier but everything ? I need to think twice before say that :D

it is easy to catch up, they nerf the game every 3 months to allow everyone to catch up to the current new content

Depends on the zone. For example, in Mor Dhona/Limsa/Coerthas I usually read some conversations between several players, besides the FC/Party recruitments requests. With the PF system, there're less shout requests for that stuff and people usually spend time chatting on their LS/FC. It also depends on the server, as TurnBased stated. And welcome back!

I resubbed last night and played for the first time in about 8 months. I spent about 5 hours straight playing doing fates in northern thanalan and I also ran 2 dungeons. I had a mother trucking blast :) Im only a smidge of XP away from 50 WHM, my first 50 w0o0o0o0t!
