Still having stutter issues. Any suggestions?

even with everything and settings on low, i get the same problem.
It's 24/7..

However I think i found the issue. My CPU temp was idle at 70C without the client running. I changed my Power Plan mode to Power saver, and now it's dropped down to 42C.

I feel like an idiot. I'll report back soon and let you know if it fixed it.

It's still a little choppy but much much better. Anyone know a possible way to make the client have less of a taxation on my CPU? Mine is pretty decent i don't see why this game would require 50%-80% of my processing ability.

That i know of there no way to fix that issue just to make this clear so i don't have to say this over and over.

The game is mess up it not working 100% with all hardware and it not going to be fix to the core system is fix. So we all have to deal with high Temp issue and high CPU/GPU use too they fix the issue.

No problem am sure 1.18 would fix your issue seeing how i am getting lag now when i was not. got to wait and see only a few week away.

Do you have SLI enabled? This looks a bit like the micro stuttering I have when using crossfire in AFR-mode.

I only use 1 card

I'm not on the NVIDIA side atm, so I don't know which driver set you should use. You might have to try other versions. I had to do the same thing last night with amd's catalyst. 3rd time was a charm for me 11.1 > 11.6 > 11.5b. Once I tried 11.5b it was night and day difference. ul'dah loaded faster, next to no shutter. I could not be more happier. I have a comparable card to your a Asus 6850.

Yeah, I'm running an older driver right now. I did notice that the latest driver was a dishonesty to FFXIV. I changed back to an older one that stated "FFXIV preferred"

I'm still tweaking my GPU settings, but the issue seems to be in my CPU. To anyone that is running across a similar issue as myself, be sure to check your CPU temps.

i been checking my cpu temp and it pertty high 60C while playing ffxiv this only happen when they had that 6hour main to fix rollback it seem like they having other one maybe fix the issue we having.
