You're right, It will be a costly feat to pull on short notice.

However, this is one of those instances where they need to drop what their doing and resolve the problem ASAP, like a leak on a ship. The 4-man's, sad to say, are at the point where they are unplayable due to lag. The pug that I just came out of had to abandon Titan STORY mode because the healer was unable to dodge the landslides. And weren't even able to get to the heart. I'd understand if it was HM, but game-breaking lag on a 4-man is unacceptable and needs to be repaired immediately. I'm crossing my fingers that it happens soon.

To be fair, it's been week end. Developpers are the same as us, they don't work on week ends. They barely maintain the servers up and only come if there is a major game-breaking bug..

At least 3 threads have been made about this, it doesnt warrant another, SE made a statement on the 29th of this month saying that they know about it

It's kind of embarrassing that after 7ish months, this game still has serious lag issues. Yes, 2.1 was a blessing, but when it starts lagging again we can only hope that we'll have some "lag free" months again before the next lagging patch drops on us.

Sorry to be the one to say it but, the reason we're lagging is because they removed the auto logout feature. Now the servers are overloading because the majority of the player base is not logging out but instead leaving their characters in game while the sleep, work etc.

autologout doesn't lag out the instance servers...and most people I know are still logging out as normal. It isn't like you can sit in Gridania and Bazaar....

I didn't realize they removed the auto logout feature XD I accidentally left the game open all Saturday evening. Apparently people in my FC were chatting with me and wondering why I was being rude :p

I believe the lag issues are almost 100% to due with congestion coupled with the new position checking. I often do dungeons at off-prime hours and I had no issues, but once it started getting into prime hours, the issues started again. Luckily, we somehow managed to kill Diabolos :p not sure how, since people were freezing and porting everywhere (and my instant casts took 3 seconds to cast!)

These problems have been present in Aurum Vale for at least a month or two now with nothing done, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

New player here. I reached Titan in story mode Saturday. I was partied with my friend who was the healer and the 2 DPS were through the DF. The lag was unbearably bad. I'm mean, beyond ridiculous. People were getting knocked off who weren't anywhere near the attack cone. We spent the entirety of the 90 mins and still couldn't do it. We went back a few hours later and the lag wasn't as bad and we did it but still, I've never played an MMO where instanced arenas lag like crazy. The over world? Sure, if it's busy. But this is a tiny instance. I don't get it.
