Noticed this was changed when doing T2. Noticed the melee LB animation still went off and immediately started to worry.
It reminded me of how one time in Ifrit HM we wiped because the BLM decided to LB3 before an eruption phase. Naturally everybody died because stun was on DR and nobody noticed the cracks

Yeah I'm just not seeing the point to taking this away.

If SE is dead set on keeping such bright/blurry animations, then perhaps there could be a way to just rework LB3 (for all classes/jobs). For example, when a Limit Break is used with 3 full bars, the entire battle freezes temporarily (players, mobs, buff/debuff timers, skills, etc) with the exception being the user of the LB.
No this isn't a prime example...just something different.
