How to stay up while crafting?

Did the mods move this thread? lol

You proved a point and they go and hide it right away.

Dunno how it belongs in this part of the thread since it's not actually about the game play but falling asleep in real life... which I thought would belong to General Discussion; oh well... At least I got my answers for this one I guess its OK w unless a Rep is summoned and gives us a crazy answer with overhaul to the crafting system :D /grin

In addition to my earlier post, sometimes I like the fact that it's boring as hell. if I can't sleep for example I'll log onto 14 to craft, works everytime, sad, but it's like a sleeping pill but without having to actually swallow something.

Not saying it shouldn't be changed to become fun, 'cause it should. Just mentioning that it does have at least 1 use!

I dont have this problem with crafting. I like the way it is.
However,
I do have this problem with falling asleep while walking from place to place. Never fails.
Everything is so far apart in game. Even in the citys gotta walk from the boat all the way to the armorers guild or from the leve counter to the repair man oh! back down stairs and then all the way accross the map to leave the city.
Anima only last so long but i still cant warp from boat to guild and so on. I like the way the layout is.
At times i wonder if its a sleeping disorder. But now after reading this thread,
Maybe stuff is really boring and i just didnt want to admit it.

For now I'll just try the anime/movies while crafting and try to keep eye open on crafting screen... or steal my wifes monitor to watch anime on their while i craft and she sleeps :D

but the same can be said about grinding the same mob over and over. the game in general is boring and needs a wake up call.

People that can just sit there and craft all the way to 50 without watching anything else.. now that is a hardcore gamer!! Or the person just has no soul O_o

I always get sleepy too while crafting, and these methods won't work for me because I forget about crafting right away and don't hear it..so I usually just sit there while dozing and my hand moves magically and presses Enter whenever I hear something.
Or I start reading a book, because there are no other sounds, I don't forget my craft.

I do #3, with 2 monitors.

read comics =( and then just suck it up ><

The fact that a thread like this exists, especially considering the fact that crafting was supposed to be a fun minigame, really makes me think that it has a long way to go.
