Relic Weapons and Glamour system

Actually it's easier than that. When you get to the point in the relic quest where you get the unfinished weapon, put it into your retainer. Then go back to Geolt and talk to the nearby moogle. It will give you another unfinished weapon so you can complete the quest with it and still have the incomplete one on your retainer

What if you've already finished the quest? I guess discussing it won't matter much because by this time tomorrow I'll be dropping one of my classes relics since there is no risk in losing it with the new vendors to repurchase them.

Ok, I have officially tested whether you can pick up the quest again after dropping a relic and you cannot. I guess all that is left is to petition SE to add Unfinished Relics to the Calamity NPCs.
