Haiku thread

leves, all I see here/
how many times can you repeat/
leve game all there is

my japanese teacher told me a haiku usually has 5-7-5 lines the number representing the amount of hiragana or katakana needed to write them.

Morbol wanders near / seeing, fleeing - no avail / sparkling life of green

My first haiku... this how it works? xD

Not sure I see your connections in your 7-5. The 5-7 is good though.

The Crimson Tide looms
A Blood red stains its surface,
Delicious apple.

roaming dodo bird
I see no reason to fight
what did I step in..

Well teeeeeechnically a haiku makes allusions to nature. The JP thread is all about senryuu (川柳), which have the same structure but are meant to be funny.
