50 is fine. Glamour is meant to be a special system. Having it at 50 essentially means you're forced to beat the game while experiencing the normal appearance of everything. Gotta make the newbs suffer with the subligar like the rest of us had to.
Yeah, people are misunderstanding the word Glamour and it's terminology in the fantasy setting in which spells exist. We know that spells do not exist in real life so it's original meaning was altered a bit. But back in the days of believing in witches and witchcraft it was something else.

Word Origin & History
glamour
1720, “magic, enchantment” (especially in phrase to cast the glamour ), a variant of Scot. gramarye “magic, enchantment, spell,” alt. of Eng. grammar (q.v.) with a medieval sense of “any sort of scholarship, especially occult learning.” Popularized by the writings of Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832). Sense of “magical beauty, alluring charm” first recorded 1840. Glamorous is 1882 (slang shortening glam first attested 1936); glamorize is 1936.
Yes but since the gear is required to be usable by the base-class... even if a player has let's say a single 50 MNK... they won't be able to glamourize their WHM or WAR or BRD in any of the gear they want to see themselves in until those classes are ALSO 50.
Besides, my point more leans on the last minute notice.
People are also clearly misunderstanding the word Mirage... especially with how it relates to prisms or crystals...

Why should it be anything but level 50? Give more content to the already level 50 players. People below level 50 are already busy trying to level up.
And no multi-slot... I am quite glad you can't because then every damn Warrior and Paladin will be dressed as Odin.
Just throwing this out there, but having to be level 50 and having to use similar slot gear? I can understand people complaining about that. I don't agree with them, but I understand them.
But complaining about the name? Really?
If your arrow means "taking on the appearance of", then you're partially wrong. You cannot equip a head slot in your main armory cause the hooded robe takes a head slot. You cannot take on the head-slot glamour properties because of the way the game is programmed, which would take more time to reconfigure and debug.
No I believe you are misunderstanding the word Mirage.
The Glamour system changes the look of an item, but that item is still quite there and real.Quote:
