2. people are not still bad, these new people are bad as the old people used to be. old people just stopped playing ifrit hm at some point.

What I am genuinely wondering is why you are putting so much effort in getting in Ifrit weapon while the rest of your Black mage gear shows that you are more than ready to advance to a relic weapon.
I'd say it is almost less effort (and headache) to gather some gil, snatch an i70 weapon from the Marketboards and put some effort into getting yourself through all 3 HM primals.

Heck, you could more than likely do it with your current setup.
With all your DoW and DoM at 50, who's gonna argue that you're not getting a weapon for a second or third job.

Most guides up still say to stun all the eruptions, so people assume that is still the case and don't realize they have to dodge them now. So much false blame for eruptions going off is tossed around in this fight now, especially in DF, it's stupid. People blame the stunner for not stunning them all, and the stunner blames people for using stun because they're getting resists.

With the last major patch, only 3 eruptions can be stunned before you have to wait a full 60 seconds before stunning any more. So basically, stun smarter. Be selective about which eruptions to stun, such as stunning the one that happens right before the arena-wide plumes and don't bother stunning the one that happens before his charge. For everyone else, be prepared to avoid the eruptions that aren't the must stun ones.

This basically sums it up. Eruptions are NOT hard, like, at all. There very good practice for Weight of the Land, because if your having problems on Ifrit, then Titan is a 70 foot unscalable brick wall.

Even better practice for Ultima HM and Ifrit Ex.

There's very little incentive to re-run the HM primals (none?). So it's basically always a party of newbies (I don't mean n00bs, but there are some of them there too).
