I for example haven't leveled but three crafting classes so far and plan on having them all. Leveling crafting classes is expensive as hell, so very good use for gil.

New tomes coming so I will just keep around 1000 Myth in case something to buy with them for crafting is needed.

Anyways they did say the cap will be removed if I am correct? So it will be easy to get Myths

I am hovering around 2k as well and only spending when needed. I enjoy crafting and I want the chance to capitalize on having new items for sale asap.

Aside from that, we're going to have to see what the stats will be on the new crafted gear and what the materia caps/options are for it.
It might be worthwhile to replace some Myth/Allagan items with them, even if it's only temporary.

Thanks for the reply's i think i'm going to save my tomestones then, some money be nice, if only for an individual house or something

Personally I really don't see the point in saving your myth unless you have nothing else to spend it on. I don't think that they will make the new crafted gear ingredients come from myth, but I'm no psychic. I also think they'll increase myth rewards by double or triple after 2.2.

That is also assuming there will be new myth crafting items. It's certainly possible, but hardly certain.
