No, because different types of ammo can be used for strategic purposes, such as using arrows of different elements, sleep arrows, stun arrows, poison arrows, etc... Also doing this will take a cut from my income selling arrows.

around 3:18 ...now thats how you pown with a bow XD
This is how it worked in FFXII, you bought arrows/bullets and they never ran out, just worked as attack mods.
i really hope this gets looked at and changed later on, as an ARC i don't want to be up close to the mob. but i don't get why we can't have a real auto attack. is it really that hard. some people talk about using too many arrows, but if you pick arc as your main then you already knew you'd be burning up arrows anyways. so how would auto attack make that any diffrent then spaming your attacks now as it is. this to me is just a bad move on SEs part. and this isn't XI where your bow was not your main weapon, it was your 2nd range attack weapon, and we have ranged/throwing weapons already in XIV.
so please SE give ARC a real auto attack the way it should be not this lol h2h idea
Checked with the development team about making it possible to use arrows infinitely. With the recipe fixes in patch 1.19 it will be possible to make arrows easily. We'll continue to look into adjustments and refinements after implementation based on all of your feedback.
How about just make weathered arrows infinite? Surely that cannot be game breaking. I'm kind of tired of carrying stacks of them filling inventory slots when I farm or grind on mobs in the field when I could be using that space for collecting materials. Please give them that message. Out with the rock throw, in with infinite Rank 1 arrows.
Make Archer AA a "Kick Attack" that sometimes knocks back the enemy, then you can use a (working) ShadowBind or (working) Bind spell to get in some good WS's that are distance dependent.
