VOTE ABANDON

"Vote Abandon" should be renamed "Leave Pharos Sirius".

So you stayed in a CT group that sat doing nothing for 15 mins before the very first pull? And then they waited for the timer and voted to abandon? I would have done the same if an entire alliance didnt do anything for 15 minutes.

Although it wasn't a vote abandon, the other day I got Pharos Sirius in DF. Tank engaged the first trash mob, but the other DD left. So after first trash mob was done, the tank and healer quit too. So i decided to cue up replace members... only to watch DF assign people and they immediately leave.. lol.

don't know what you want from me.
People are ready checking 3 times before pulls since the feature arrived and trolls can do the abandon between that.
You can see a difference (size, text) but seriously i always pray the others don't just click yes without paying attention.

Oh, you said vote abandon which has a timer before it can be used. Ready checks don't have a timer. I just took your comment too literal.

I was in a group getting trolled by the ready check throughout every fight. Someone finally said in alliance chat "everyone select no so we can kick/report who is trolling." Big surprise when the ready check box didn't come up again once the entire run. Now when I see people starting to troll I select no and ask everyone else to do the same.

I really think that "Vote Abandon" should be locked until:

- There has been at least 4 wipes of the party.
or
- There are less than the required amount of party members and 10 minutes has elapsed.

That will prevent elitists from calling a vote abandon after 1-2 wipes and also prevent prevent other trolls.

While browsing the forums tonight, this is the 2nd post of yours which I have come across that I really like.

As for my two cents, I'm glad I'm not in your servers, folks. I have never had an issue with Vote Abandon or Ready Check being used improperly over in Mateus. I mean, it helps that most of the time I can get 2 or 3 people from the fantastic FC that I'm part of, but even when I'm just on DF for CT or AK, I never have any issues. The worst problem I ever had was some douche Tank hanging back until a fight was finished, and after the 3rd time we kicked him and he was replaced by someone more competent.

However, i do see the potential based on what you guys are saying, and what Nakiamiie suggested above seems like a great alternative that SE can logistically implement without an issue.

I think it is best redo all from scratch. At least, you can do something else while waiting for groups to fill.
