I'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of "boobs"Quote:
If it's not something racist or bigotry get over it.

I shouldn't have to see an FC called something that rhymes with "punt" and is a vulgar slang for female genitals.
The ESRB does not rate online interaction. FC names are part of the online interaction. The ESRB will only rate what is hard coded into the game, so the actual game play as made by Square Enix is the only thing with a Teen Rating. Everything else when dealing with online players is to be treated as an M rating to the very least as content created by characters, unless directly insulting, cannot be held against the ESRB or company.
Considering we're from the same Server, I'd like to try and find which FC you seem to dislike due to name sake.
Also as an FC leader I haven't seen any way to rename FC's. I can take a look, but I don't know if there is a way other than disbanding the FC and starting over.
See right above. I don't think there is a way for the owner to change from what I have personally seen as an FC leader.
Another bump to first quote. Also YAY more cactaur peoples!
It's SE's fault for not putting a filter when creating Free Companies.
SE will probably do something about it, if they can. There was a guy in my LS with a last name that had a clearly sexual connotation (not going to say it), and as you all know, LS names show up in the order they join. One day, I noticed the guy's last name had changed to something similar, but less offensive. His first name was still the same. So, SE likely forced him to change his name without much penalty. I'm not sure if the functionality exists for them to change FC names, but I can only imagine so. You can already change your little acronym at will.
Do offensive names bother me? Nope. I'm a pretty unoffendable person. This is the internet, after all. You can't survive without a thick set of skin.
Buuuuuut, this game is 13+. They even offer a profanity filter if you choose to use one. I think adults can be more creative than using profane names. That's just my opinion. That said, I've never reported a bad name. However, I've never seen a bad name stay for very long. Someone else always reports it.
