Does anyone else hate the jewelry on their character?

I only dislike earrings because they tend to clash with the ones that my lalafell has from character creator. I'd rather them spend some time fixing the horrible hair clipping than worry about acccessory toggling, though...

Yes, I would love the option to hide choker/earrings.

It would be nice to see some... slimmer versions of necklaces, though! Even just vanity, non-stat gear like the winter coat we have right now. Necklaces on chains and stuff!

I mean, the huge bling on my crafter classes is kind of distracting.

I would love to be able to turn on and off gloves and all jewelry. I love the design of the Tremor earrings, but I hate how they actually look on my character. Too bad they're the only i90 earrings I have for all my classes T_T I also love the Ultima things enough that I like being able to see them.

The hair clipping and the weapon clipping. It's terrible to see the mage staffs clip right thru the middle of hats. I don't remember there being this many clipping issues before in 1.0.

And back on topic? I really just wish they would have more styles of jewelry. You basically get the dangle style, the fang style, or the hoop style for earrings. You get the gorget or leather choker choices for the neck. And yet there's this guild in Ul'dah who supposedly makes amazing and unique pieces that women covet and want to have named after them. Would variety be such a bad thing?

This thread just reminds me that there's so much more they can do aesthetically for us and I for one am in full support of the suggestions posted here. We can use better variations for a jewels, even gender related ones (that aren't locked to the sex your character is.) Not to delve off topic here but something I really want is for them to start managing the hair better..more specifically when we wear hats. I am pretty urked when I put a hat on my Roe and a lot of her hair magically runs away from her head turning it into a pixie cut... I know they fixed some styles but it's definitely occurring still..-_-

I agree with hiding jewelry, Some of us just aren't into that stuff.

kind of wish I could turn off jewelery myself, my character is a grumpy bastard and yet he seems very feminine flashing his nice earrings and necklaces around.

I like this option, I mean really why am I not surprised something like a vanity system is being made complicated. I prefer Runes of Magic method, each slot on your character is literally a check box in the slot if you want it to be visible or not. That's pretty simple there.
