healer gear drop rates?

We have gotten so much healing gear in our static the last four resets. Before that was a run on Dragoon gear.

Thought it was just me feeling that way. Been doing coil for over a month and my bf for even longer. Everytime he goes tank and melee stuff drop. Every time I go tank and melee stuff drop >.>

Its all Random for different players.... i seen Healers drop the same amount as the tank does.

I remember everyone saying DRG is common drop, i have never seen a DRG drop in the last 5 months. Just the neck piece.

3 months of coil, only have 3 healer pieces...

To the people saying that the OP is complaining for no reason, while of course the loot rates are random, that doesn't mean it seems really unlikely when a lot of us could probably fully kit out a MNK whom we haven't levelled up yet. :P At least, in my experience. Each of my FC members has 2 - 3 MNK pieces.

Just luck of the draw, of course, but man. I'd like some of the healer luck now please!

Maybe there's magic to complaining?

I'm on 18 weeks now for my caster chest, without result.

Personal observations based on nowhere near enough data to begin to look for a trend:

Higher than average drop rate: DRG (We've geared several alt DRGs while trying to get gear for our mains.)
Lower than average drop rate: BRD (Every member of my static was all sitting with 4+ pieces of Allagan on top of several additional pieces to replacements while the bard had not a single piece.)

Nothing else was noticeably out of line, though there are pieces that I've not seen at all (healer gloves, for example) while others have dropped many times over.

It's just how it is. Before when the drops for DRG and MNK were too high I used to never see healer drops. I still don't see them as often as I'd like opposed to Caster but my chances of getting one are a lot better now. If your friend doesn't get her drops and she'd like to get coil gear she does have the option of farming later once the update window hits. I feel her pain, and wish her good luck.

My group has people who have done coil since week 2, and downed Twin the week after BG. Yet it took us 17 weeks to get our first Scholar book and 19 weeks to get our first bow. With this said, we're yet to see our first pair of BRD feet, never seen the tanking earrings drop, seen DRG legs once and it took us 2 months to see our first tanking piece.
If you've been running coil since week 2 of the game going live and you are still yet to see pieces, then you have my permission to be pissed. You're complaining about not getting gear after a week of 1-4, cry me a river, some people have been waiting more or less since launch.

PS: We have healer pieces drop each week and they normally go FL, that includes the WHM cane too.
