because it's a PC. Technology constantly evolves. Your PS4 isn't going to get a new gpu in 2 years.

No no don't get me wrong i can give a rats butt about graphics i love my ps3 and id love to stick with it for 4 more years but we both know sony will cut it off at some point that and idk how long SE will keep updating the ps3 ver. But as it stands right now there's nothing on the ps4 i wan't to play there's still many games coming out for ps3 i wan't to get so my point if ff is going to be on ps4 i at least wan't it to run as good as the pc ver. But idk IGN say's it looks fine not as good as PC but better then PS3 so what ever http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/02/...n-ps4-and-vita
Hmm i thought the graphics were freaking amazing and the combat is dam sweet. But i wish the map gave us a easier way to show where we gotta go while doing a quest. Guessing op is a troll?
It feels like a slap in the face SE! How dare PS4 graphics not be on par with PC! ......
The graphics on PC, at highest settings, are subpar at best so you really aren't missing out on anything. And the gameplay matters much more than graphics do, sadly this games gameplay is mediocre.
I think I die a bit inside every time I see people say that consoles are cheaper than good PCs. You can build a great PC that can run this game at the highest settings at ~60fps for under a thousand dollars, and while a PS4 is only 400 having a PC is cheaper in the long run and you get your moneys worth out of it. Really you can do anything on a PC, and only play video games (generally below 1080p/60fps) on PS4.
I don't understand this whole notion that the ps4 was supposed to push people to 'upgrade' to the ps4 from the pc. From the ps3, sure. And with the rumours that ps3 might be dropped a few years in the future, I'm glad its an option!
But I digress. If you already have a high end PC capable of playing the game, then why the hell would you assume the console version to be better? Its like asking people why they would even consider purchasing for example, a steam box or a new console when they already have a library of games and a better PC to run them on. They wouldn't, but people without the high end PC's would probably be interested.
Having a 5 year old laptop, and running the game on PS3 currently, I would absolutely spend 400 dollars on a PS4 and move over to the new console. Because 400 dollars is way cheaper than trying to build a PC or purchasing a new laptop. Especially when the PS4 drops slightly in price.
Is this kind of situation so hard for people to grasp?
Idk, everyone I know who's played both PC and PS4 say the PS4 is pretty much on par with PC. Some people in-game on PS4 were saying it ran better than their high end PC on max settings. I don't think the PS4 beta is lackluster at all.
You think that's bad? You must not have played the PS3 version...
I'm sure the people going from PS3 to PS4 are pleased. In fact, they have said so in shout themselves in game.
