Master Fisher's Ring is flawed

Yeah that's a possibility but doesn't change the fact that it's taking up space with no use no matter what level your fisherman is at.

Who cares, all achivement gears are for vanity not their stats.

Vanity shmanity, a fishing ring with only GP is like a tanking ring with only INT. There's just no excuse.

Have you looked at the rings for the other classes? The DoW/DoM are inferior to darklight, and the DoH ones are inferior to the ilvl55 ring.

Yeah, it's an achievement item, none of which are good items with the exception of the luminary tools. They're just trophies.

I belive GP for fisher is part of fishing algoritms. Chance to efective fishing in some way. Feel like low GP easiest lost metal bait for example. Is not useless, personally used to cap it when can, because too like to have full GP when changing to Miner and/or Botanist (all crafts and gathering lvls 50 here).

Um, no...
GP is completely useless for fishing right now and does not influence anything.
It's the Gathering stat which determines if a fish stays on your line or gets away (with or without lure).

But as others have mentioned, fishermen may get abilities in the future that do require you to use GP.
But even then those rings would be useless to me as my melded gear is better anyway.

Yeah but what is the DoL stuff inferior to? There's not really anything to compare it to honestly. I seriously just melded crap jewelry just to get extra perception. Hell fishing doesn't even have an offhand weapon to meld like the others. I just see FSH getting the shaft the more I look at these threads.

The DoL master rings are inferior to the level 50 crafted ring. The crafted ring has 22GP when HQ, just like the master ring, but can also be melded with 3 perception, 3 gathering, and 4GP.
