Suggestion: More Apkallu Egg

Same server as me. Apkallu, depending on time of day, "can" be farmed. I usually see 10 people fighting around there for them, but sometimes I don't see anyone outside of the FATE grinders.

I still haven't checked but did they go up from 250?

I'd be all for adding in two or three more areas for them to spawn in.

so dropping the price of all the food that use apkallu eggs? ..... .

Why would you want more Apkallu? Surely you know of the dreaded Flying Sardine.

there not bad to farm and the prices are usually stable enough to buy if you dont feel like porting over there. i never see any botters there tbh but the only time i really try is while im waiting for coil since i figure i can share the wealth with my current party members.

To the OP !

If they increase the drop rate of the eggs do you know that prices will drop like hell and nobody will be able to make money from them! The market is so and so crashed and you want to destroy it even more :(

I wait for the day someone with SE, with a very evil sense of humor, "turns off" Apkallu spawning and puts out a press release:


"The Apkallu have been hunted to extinction. Lord Gegeruju feasted on the carcass of the last known Apkallu with three of his closest umfriends two nights ago..."

...then maybe a little miniquest, "So...if you want more Apkallu Eggs, you must seek out a well-hidden, crafty breeding pair that are TRULY the last two living birds..."

got my CUL lv50 already without crafting any single recipe that used the eggs

A 'legitimate way' used by botters .. I see.

You may want to keep it a way to make money, I want a way for me to be able to get the stuff I need without having to be dependent on price-gouging botters and crafters.
