That's funny, because the MNK thread just finished a discussion a few days back about how to keep GL3 up all through Titan except for the transition to heart phase.

Sounds like melee isn't for you.

Just change class, and enjoy. I don't feel gimped.

Every Melee character I partner up with out DPS's me. They usually kill the creature we focus on before I can finish my DoT Rotations and set off a Fester. Nothing wrong with Melee DPS at all. Add my pet into it then its another story. Majority of damage seems to come from my Pet combo'd with my DoT as my single target skills don't hit very hard. I love playing my summoner and I'm usually complimented on playing it when I run with others. Still, the really good Melee DPS leave me behind in the dust.

Also at melee range u can still hit, melee at distance cant. learn a bit about other classes and come back

A well played MNK will still top DPS in these fights. lol, I thought u would mention garuda ex but titan, really? Meele have higher dps and easier dodging than casters in titan fight.

This guy is no where near titan hm or anything above, he is just talking about his imagnation "hard" fight for melee.

MNK's can keep GL3 for titan's entire fight.
DRG's have a somewhat more difficult time keeping their positionals correct but since its so scripted even thats not an issue.
I have never ever been out DPS'ed on Titan EX, except by a fantastic MNK. And that tells you all you need to know about the state of melee in this game.

I was tryont to not bash you too much, but since you asked ...
1) You never passed Titan HM, don't talk as if you did.
2) You never seen Titan EX.
3) Lancer only level 15 ? Please, L2P .....
4) One class level 50 and talking like a pro ... I killed Titan HM with my BRD, my MNK, my DRG and my BLM. 2 melees, 2 ranged. You didn't even kileld him once.
5) Coil ? You never seen a single mob there, and you continue to talk.
6) People explained how to keep GL3, you cannot : L2P.
7) You won 2 e-sports events ? I did, I even organized some. But I still want to know the connection with a MMO, winning a PES tournament or a Trackmania tournament is a little different than playing a melee char on FFXIV, without the best cross-class skills.

My husband mains a Monk and has done Titan HM twice (Once for relic and once to help out). He only died his first time and in the second one he didn't die once. I am no ashamed to say he is better then me at that and I main a bard. :o

I uualy raid with my BRD in FC (I'm the only BRD available for Twintania) and my BLM in GF (easier to find a group). I have this lame joke :
-If you are too bad to tank, play a healer.
-If you are too bad to play a healer, play a DPS.
-If you are too bad to play a DPS, play a BRD.
-If you are too bad to play a BRD, try Hello Kitty Online.
