April Fools Event Request

*Looks at the previous post and sighs, murmuring under her breath "If only that was a joke..."*

ANYWAY, I remember Yoshi's April Fool's Day prank last year where the development team had a laugh at the community's expense over the constant whining for new races (or rather, recycled FFXII races), and posted mock-up pics of the supposed new race for the game, 'bangarra'. It was funny just how many people took it seriously. :p

All endgame content drops three times the usual pieces of gear during the day. As soon as midnight comes around and it's April 2nd, there's a rollback to the night of March 31st.

I believe you were referring to the Viangaa.

My dream FF14 April Fools event would be to change everyone's race for the day to specific ones.

Roegadyn M > Lafafell F
Miqote F > Roegadyn M

etc.

Everyone logs on only to find their character in an inn, naked with nothing in their inventory(and proceed to have a minor heart attack). There are broken, conspicuous looking, potions on the floor all around them. If you look closely enough, the liquid from the potions spell out "April fools". As soon as you leave the inn you get all your gear back from a character who says he found them on top of the roof.

Square Enix to announce Red Mage... I'd love it and hate it at the same time.

That would be awesome. How about instead of the inn you wake up in random FC houses?

Make everyone who logs in be naked and have no access to their inventories, and whenever they try to hit ctrl-i the screen goes black and boops back on with everything normal and big ass letters spelling out "April Fool's" or the FFXIV equivalent.
