On topic, I too am happy with this amazing game! I recently had a very bad experience with another player that has kept me away from the game for a few days. But I realized today that in this case, its okay to hate the player, not the game.

It's the people I've met in my FC that make me love the game so much. It's a tight knit FC, and as long as we stay together I will continue my journey in Eorzea!

The skies! the climates! man, that's just another amazing feature (that is implemented perfectly, if I must say)

-Small story

On my first week in this game, I was hanging around Eastern Thanalan, when suddenly some guy starts stalking me, and whispering "YAY I FOUND ANOTHER SOREN!" among other things.
That took me by surprise. We went on chatting, as i was questing and he kept stalking...
Then he invited me to something called "linkshell" and I, not knowing what it is, but wanting to know, accepted.
Wonderful choice. I met a lot of random-fun people there..the chat is always lively, and they make the game a little more lively (it is already, for me, but well it just adds up)

As far as all the negatives threads it's just hot air. There have been threads created for months now about "I'm canceling my sub and this game will never make it"...

Ya, they've been replaced tenfold (if they even actually left) and disproven every single time. It's the way of the mmo hopping younger generation. They do this with every single game they play. Pay them no mind.

Instead become active in the objective, well thought out, civil and mature threads that make suggestions for in game changes. Those are the threads that will hopefully enhance the future experiences, and ironically enough, cause the hoppers to come back again whining and moaning about xyz.

Pretty humorous when you think about it :confused:

I love this game... People complain about content but I am satisfied that they have been adding it... This game is not even a year old and the feed back on it is great...

Game is great. I say most 'negative' posters are about specific aspects of the game which could be better in their opinion or just venting about it. The people who really dislike the game are gone already.

I absolutely love this game, the details are stunning, while the original story of this game is a bit ... shallow .. ir progresses to get better and it seems to show that it will get really awesome.

I always loved Final Fantasy music, I only miss some of the old tracks of 1.0. And some odd mechanics (spear fishing!, open world NMs, Hamlet fights) But I won't QQQQQQQ over those things There is still lots that I can do in FFXIV ... and I doubt I will ever get completely tired of it for now

I'm with you OP. I love this game so far and I'm excited to see how it evolves.

I'm still happy with this game.

Not many MMOs will even bother to add major content to expand on the game in this short amount of time FF14ARR is offering Major Updates.

The common average for a MMOs to add Major content is usually 8 months to 1 year instead of 2.5-3 months. Meaning we don't have to wait around a year for something new to be put into the game.

Not to mention not many would bother expanding on the Main Quests of the game on Major Updates. Usually we have to wait for the Expansion to get any story progress or new Major Battles.
