STRONGLY DISAGREE.
ya OP is trolling or bad. Had a half written post before I decided this was facetious in nature.
RNG surecast resets can be nice, but usually wont happen. 20 seconds equanimity is definitely needed, often you'll spend the first 10 seconds of it silenced, even after waiting for stun DR to go up, everyone saves their silences for equanimity. You don't really have better things to spend it on anyways, CD reductions on our globals only worth it for r30 4v4s, you can skip the extra convert (though Ill probably pick this up at 27 or 30), so might as well get equanimity perk.
What if they reduce all damage 50% in pvp , remove direct damage interrupt thing and give melee dps 50% permanent snare. That would make game easier for casual players?
The 100% interrupt is definitely frustrating... I agree... but somehow it balances itself out. The only time I REALLY have an issue getting anything done is if I am getting assaulted by their entire team. Equanimity helps a lot but the more skilled teams will reserve their stuns for when you pop equanimity so that you end up 'wasting' time on it. The extended duration one is something I greatly look forward to when I get the points!
You don't pop Equanimity against a Bard until you force him to silence you using Surecast. After he does that you are free to do whatever, PLD isn't even a problem being that he is melee, you just Aetherial Manipulate Blizzard 1 him. As said you only need to use Equanimity for straight fights blowing up people. Other than that Surecast will always do the job.
Excuse me: which part of my post is "facetious"? And what part suggested I was "trolling" or "bad"? You say these antagonistic things passive aggressively as though I can't read them. Are you sure you're not trolling?
If you had ideas I'd have liked to have heard them, but you clearly didn't think them important enough to post them. So there's that.
Keep in mind, pole dancing works as a last resort. Don't take Wolf's den too seriously, it's a grind, nothing more. It's not competitive, PvP r30 rules them all. And you may want to think about changing your race, size does matter, and you're a really big target. I expect Front lines will offer more abilities, as Yoshi-P dropped a hint about how abilities worked was effected by your GC faction. Win or loose collect your xp and marks at this phase of PvP.
I don't have issues with PLDs or BRDs alone. They're usually just an extra nuisance, because I can and do bait silence with surecast. Its MNKs that are the problem, which are coincidentally the new FOTM melee DPS and thus are in 2/3 of matches. Tell me some sort of feasible counter for a MNK saving his silence DRs, his purify, fetter ward, and his shoulder tackle (to negate aetherial) for your equanimity? Because lets face it, to shut you down, all he needs to stop is your only CD for uninterruptable casts, before hes back to preventing 90% your casts again.
Fortunately, only MNK who actually does this currently is Shin. The rest I can still deal with. But boy, when the rest learn what to do, its gonna be a bad time.
