Walking/Running speed ideas - Translated

i wonder how the average FF fan would react to being able to ride other creatures as mounts.

how badd as would it be ride one of those smaller dragons or a piest?

I would love a sprint button, but I think it would kill quickstride ability lol.

Sure, I wouldn't mind riding on a mid-sized drake...That can very well eat me at the same time if I piss it off. :P

So with Quickstride are you still limited to 30 seconds, about 5-8 of which are switching from passive to active to passive, while glued in place waiting for the quickstride animation to complete? Sounds a little less than ideal for making an emergency escape.

I know they've said that they want the mounting system to be something more, something different. And I'm all for that, I hope they introduce something great. But, you know, in the meantime, can I just get something fast to ride. I'll take the rest when you're finished with it. :p

yep same here as long as the map changes like the 1-50 1 area thread. with current map it's just boring as hell walking/running through same looking areas

The "walk" speed or the "run" speed?

Everyone I know has autorun turned on 24/7, but I suppose some people prefer to "walk" everywhere instead.
