Nightmare Mount Drop Rate higher on Ifrit-EX ?

Same exact chance as everything else. The drop rate is as normal as any ring/earrings/bracelet from the 3 primals. I have seen it drop from Garuda 6 times in 50-65 kills.

Mine dropped at titan ex... but I rolled a pathetic "7" on it..

been doing since 2.1, garuda killed over 80 times and seen twice. titan and ifrit, probably 30-40 kills each, never seen mount from them. i saw mount in one of my first garuda kills, and then once again yesterday, and i rolled one number lower than another person. i wish i knew him url so i could key his car or make out with his girlfriend. hopefully he washes his hands

killed garuda 140 times and never saw it once :(

I personally feel the same, i have farmed titan for my item maybe ~20 times, but no nightmare. Ifrit definitely lesser than 20, but i have seen it 3 or 4 times.

I got worse then this... Im myself at about 150 garuda kills,( took me 29 solo heal attempt for ring after being outrolled 6 times). About 20 titan kills and 70 ifrits. Havent seen it drop once and im still farming because i miss caster ear and bracer and healer ear... Getting really boring or always doing those.

I wish we had confirmed numbers. Bump btw. Major bump.

Well this explains my confusion at poster #3. I hope they eventually got to do them. :D

I don't think there is(but I could definitely be wrong) a different percentage to see it drop in one over the other, but in my experience, it can take FOREVER to get the Nightmare Whistle since I did 200 runs of Garuda as PLD, and 120 as DRK before I finally got mine. Not to mention that I also did HUNDREDS of runs of Ifrit EX, Titan EX, and Garuda EX before HW to get all the ARR primal mounts(only was missing Nightmare until like 2months ago).

Your best bet, if you are wanting to tank mounts also - not the SB ones, the other ones that require 200 runs of EX primals, or the Alexander raid stuff - to join a tank mount farm, it's usually Garuda, and you kill her in less than 5min on average.
