You can do the same in ARR with the exception of CT groups.

Also Random roulette groups. Can't group up with others and que for those.
My takeaway from this - you're one of those wannabe elitists who thinks speed running a storyline you got off DR and ruining it for a few new guys makes you cool.
Regrets: Reading that wall of BS.
Content - At first I thought like you like, "omg where's the content?" but if you stop and look it's actually a lot of content. The problem is, it's just so easy you breeze through it and you're done. If they don't make things harder it will always seem like it's not enough content.
But overall I am pretty disappointed aswell with how this game turned out :<
I will agree it is easy to breeze through it Lumiin. But there is also little to do. Look at the number of dungeons most other games have had, how large they are and how many areas you can go to of similar level and actually feel engaged. We can agree to disagree but area for area size wise and the amount of quests this game falls short by most measuring sticks of how much the game has.
Lurkios I'm not sure the last time I was called an elitist(Well, aside from that guy in CT take off his full level 1 costume gear and actually tank right). I'll help people get their characters coil ready, help with relics and in general do alot of things I don't need. If me being elitist is pointing out valid problems with the game and lowering population that is because of those problems then I'm an elitist.
That's a generalization based on your personal experience. It has nothing to do with the system on which they play. People can just be jerks in general, or bad at games in general. I've seen plenty of PC players that are terrible, and I've seen plenty of PS3 players that are terrible. I've also seen plenty of rude players on both systems.
I will agree that a lot of people are entitled, but I believe that also has a lot to do with the younger generation. However, judging people based on what system they use is unfair.
I agree with everything stated. Most of these issues and points are being posted on these forums daily. I wonder what (if anything at all) SE will do.
The dungeons, all of them, are just memorization. Quite boring.
I spend more time these days reading forums and looking for a game to sink my teeth into. I also only log on to hang out with FC friends.
Beautiful game but just not much fun. And I am a die hard fan and will continue to play.
Half of my FC are PS3 players and It's never been an issue. Suggesting that playing on a console makes you an inferior player is ridiculous. And I don't see how it has any sort of connection with a person's attitude either. Sounds like typical PC "master race" absurdity.
If you kick a player out of your PT its grounds for recourse from a GM due to grievance. You can get suspended for making a player feel gimp by informing him his DPS is horrid.
On the flipside, you can que up for CT, get your drop, leave and no one will ever give a sh!t.
You're condemned to content for 4 or 8 members.
Put it this way, if this was XI in 2008, My LS message might read "Sunday Sky Farming: Byakko & Genbu then Dynamis Beauc - Monday Seiryu & Suzaku then Einherjar Chamber 1 - Tuesday Kirin x5 + Limbus - Wednesday Dynamis Lord + Jailer Farm - Thursday Break (Salvage Groups/Nyzul Isle) - Friday Odin - Saturday Limbus
In XIV my FC MSG reads "Hi WELCOME TO XIV. We will be back in 2.2, if it doesn't suck and can't guarantee we will stay"
EDIT: XI has so many valuable lessons for SE to take home and use as a guide in XIV's direction.
I don't think any WoW player will ever be able to understand the loyalty and love XI players had for the game. People were attached to their servers like they were their second home. This current form of XIV, does not have that potential.
having regrets over a videogame... *gasp* so hard-boiled!
