He doesn't need to give me 20 points of vit if he grows into an adult wolf and helps me kill mobs when I'm out in the world... I certainly have a greater bond with him than I do with my derpy Grand Company chocobo.

Then people would only use the minion that gives the best stat boost for their class. It'd kill diversity. Even if it's just 1 DEX or something, you can be sure that people would use it and nothing else.

I would be thrilled to have it out WITH my chocobo. Always having to decide to do this thing... OR I can bring out my chocobo... is kinda... meh. But not a game breaker for me.

If they could just give our minions those pokemon battles from wow, that'd be great. I'd never do anything else again, lol.

I only wish I can display all the minions in personal housing, like, have them run around or something :<

I just know Shantotto will probably bully my other minions lol 0-h0h0h0h0h0h0!

What I dont understand is why are people so butt ravaged about balance in a game with no PK. It's a theme park and we just want stuff to keep up entertained.

I agree that there should be more functionality behind minions. While I don't think they should be allowed on dungeons and instances, it will be nice for certain minions to give us very minor stat bonuses. I'm talking about a +1 increase on a stat. Nothing too major.

We need something like in Dragon Quest, monsters' arena but with minions ! It could be some kind of mini-games in housing zone. You breed your minion in your garden/house and every saturday it's time for the cutest battle o/
