Unfortunately there exists loads of cheap shit out there that don't handle things properly without such workarounds...

On PS3 I just put it on the DMZ host.
Solved most lag/PSN d/c.
But I still get annoying PSN d/c, not as crazy as 10 times in a row but during peak times it spikes for a short while due to connecting to NA PSN from Asia... Don't think that can be helped.
Understandably, it is not recommended for PC users...
Ah, I remember having to do port forwarding to play any Blizzard game (back in the day). I think I've even did it for playing counter strike at one point in time...
Most routers now a days don't suck, though.
I went to the site, found my router, forwarded my ports... no change at all. In fact I think it is actually worse! Tried the VPN thing and it helped a little bit, but not enough for being able to dodge plumes in Titan EX. Funny thing is that everything was fine before the instance crash an hour before the patch maintenance, dodging plumes was a breeze and lag was non existent! SE changed something and caused this issue, whether it is something from the ISP side or not, the action that changed things was from SE's side, so in my opinion, they are the ones that need to fix something.
I did this for my PS3 I didn't notice any difference, unless I did it wrong but they have good step by step instructions.
