Reminds me of RO. And yes, it is really fun to see a mob killing all the players like there's no tomorrow.

It's probably related to the quest hubs they're going to add. The Thanalan hub is located just west of Horizon.

That would require a GM to be logged in and use the command at the quest hubs for some specific reason? Pretty unlikely. I'm almost positive it's just another step in the "Approaching Darkness" event.

I witnessed something tonight, but not sure of the details.

I came back from being afk at Camp Horizon, to find Urianger Augerelt (the GM Arcanist) buffing people and spouting dark prophecies. Roysia (the NPC) was there, too. There were gnats in the camp, killing people that were afk.

I only saw gnats, didn't see any hippogryphs.

I got screenshots of the GM and the NPC, but not of the gnat pwnage. At the time, I figured it was just a behest or leve gone awry. >.<

how many more weeks until the event kicks off? I already forgot

I was about to open a new post, but found this one instead.

Yes, yesterday I met Urianger for the first time, something that I've been wanting to do in a long while, but an unusual occurrence happened: two Hippocerfs came out of nowhere and attacked!

To the many questions left unanswered I speak of in my diary, like if the prophet knew the two fiends were about to appear and thus helped us with his magic or if he really was the one that summoned them, today one more is crossing my mind: Will monsters start to appear in our beloved hometowns as well?

My fists are ready, as are my tools to do their part. :cool:

Oh it would be so funny if they used this to pwn all the RMT stood at the camp.

It would be funnier to see these trample through town after all the crafters :P
