Apkallu Eggs

I only find it annoying when I'm making raid food. But with the spawns currently I'll get about 15 eggs before I give up

Mob count, not drop count. They don't need to increase banemite population when they increased number of drops per enemy. The Sheep they "added" was just relocating where some from the main camp spawned.

At least on Excalibur these mobs are farmed 24/7 by usually 2+ people and I think there's only around 12 (edit: actually more like 17-18) of them. I feel like the high demand for apkallu eggs (like diremite webs, fleece, etc) wasn't considered when the team decided to have so few ways of obtaining them.

Not true. They increased the total number of sheep in the zone (by adding other camps for them)

I don't usually lose, it's just not fun/enjoyable having to race to each bird when I tend to farm tens or even hundreds of eggs at a time~ (and so does everyone else I think)

Please don't increase the drop number, only increase the numbers of Apkallu camps.

this is where him going with the no open world grinding is an issue. when mobs need people farming them and you have hundreds to thousands of people on at once it becomes a disaster. there's only a few mobs per spot and they respawn quite slow. then add on top there's usually 8+ people farming them in that small area on excalibur consistently and it becomes problematic. it's gotten to where when i go i stay until i get 2-3 stacks and will just try to pull every mob there. sure, it may take me an entire day to farm them, but hey i don't need to go back to farming them again for a long time.

I can appreciate this struggle, and if I see your character farming when I'm there, I will try and respect your space.

the pain comes when you try to complete your hunting log and have to compete with bots for the mobs...
