I've tried to straight up Kite the Moogle King, but somehow get hit just as often. Would love to see how your guy Kites. As a War tank, I just found it safest to hit the Moogle King with my Storm's Eye, Storm's Path combo for the added defense and healing, then Kite when the Moogle was busy with a big action.

Well, Thornmarch has been nerfed for patch 2.15. I want to say it wasnt necessary due to me having tried so hard to beat it, and succeeded. But, i guess enough people whined about it, so here we are. Hopefully its not a huge nerf, because the amount of competence from each player for this fight made it exciting and put me on edge.

While the moogle tactic wise is just right (after garuda, but before titan), the gear check is a little higher then it should be.

Even a geared group will wipe from a bad luck by the random aoe provoke. While you can do it a lot easier by farming LB off the blm, that's clearly not a tactic the developer wanted.
