Screen shakes terribly when running down stairs/hill

tbh, I believe it has to do with clipping. If you stand close to a wall, or pan low while zoomed out for example, the camera will zoom in as the camera contacts the wall or ground. Since it doesn't go through walls it follows it's contour. It's the same for the shaking. A quick fix is to pan the camera up so it's not "hitting" the ground as you go up/down inclines.

Well if it isn't the camera shaking, it's the character bouncing up and down. I've tried a number of things to no real success.

I have this problem when I am running down hills/stairs too. Like when running into Cass Hollow it bounces around a lot, I use an ATI card don't know if that makes a difference or if it is a problem that everyone has.

I have an Nvidia GTS 240 1 ghz, so doesnt seem to be a problem with a specific graphics card.

Yeah, this is pretty annoying to see.
I thought they actually fixed this at one point IIRC but either it never happened or the problem just came back again.
But yeah, +1 to getting this fixed.

Didn't they say they were reworking the landscapes, terrains and sh*t?
If so, stay tuned! At least at the end of the summer we'll see some changes.

I'm doubtful this is a terrain problem but who knows...

I think it's a problem with how the ground is structured so perhaps they will end up fixing this issue when they get round to reworking the zones.
