The rest of that group was just as bad for votekicking you as those tanks were. They either just didn't pay attention to who they were votekicking or we're too afraid the tanks would quit if they didn't get their way :/

Worst I had was two nights ago. Alliance B's tanks were... just awful. Their healers just as bad. They were struggling to keep alive in Bone Dragon, Atomos, Thanatos- we wiped a few times due to their alliance.
Comes to behemoth, I say in Alliance chat that it would be best if A or C tank this as B seems to be struggling.

B immediately launches into racial slurs against me (Google Translate is awesome). I was called a filthy gaijin (outsider/foreigner) and a whole heck of a lot of stuff I'm not gonna repeat here.

We make it through to Acheron, and upon both A and C calling ready i tell my tank to just go pull Acheron, that it's safer if we do.
So he does, and B chucks a hissy fit, all /sit'ing. Of course this causes a wipe when Ancient Flare is cast.

Next pull, they all just stood huddled up, none of them assisting in the fight at all unless a claw grabbed one of their own. They ran into the shields etc, but none of them ever touched Acheron.
We downed him easily enough, which seemed to anger them and they went off at us calling us gaijin again and hackers. A quick lodestone search after leaving identified 6/8 of them being from Mandragora, their FC didn't show up on their character sheets though.

For me, it seems like it's always the first pull, Bone Dragon and Atomos that brings out the trolls. Tail swipe and skeleton stacking makes wiping the entire alliance way too easy, and people treating Atomos as a DPS race has them doing unproductive things to slow down the other groups (i.e. not standing on the platform). I've seen stupid things on Behemoth too but I haven't had any obvious issues with him. I guess he's not as fun to troll with?

This is pretty disappointing to read. Sorry that happened to you OP. I was looking forward to CT, honestly. But I've heard nothing short of complaints and disappointments, mostly over alliance teamwork and/or trolls/abusive players, and while it doesn't put me off of trying CT when I finally can, it isn't a very motivating factor.

As a minor remedy, I'd recommend perhaps forging an "alliance" of free companies. Perhaps meet and form positive relationships with at least 2 other FCs on your server in order to run CT? I'm aware there's no guarantee that you'll all end up together (SE, can you do something about this or no?), but it's worth a shot. Worst case scenario: you meet a bunch of other players that you can enjoy playing with, CT or otherwise :)

Two tanks can't vote kick on their own. Apparently 3 others agreed with them. are you sure your behavior wasn't also questionable?

I've noticed CT has become a huge tank e-peen arena as well. I constantly see tanks comparing and bragging about their sword sizes. and this just leads to havoc, bickering, and general wast of everyones time.

Crystal Tower was bound to have trolls and drama queens thanks to the 24 player requirement. It's such a shame that we can't form our own 24 man instance (yet) so that we don't have to suffer from pubs. I never had a troll yet, but I have encountered massive rage quits and drama the minute we wipe on ANYTHING.


It's sad too because Crystal Tower is actually very fun.

Seriously, it would be so awesome to be able to preform alliances to queue for CT.
I would really like this to be added to the game as raiding becomes more prominent.

I think the devs said they are going to try to make it happen, but it's not anytime soon.
