I think it would be fun, but I would suck at it. I'd still play, though :)

We in the free company have been talking about the implementation of blitzball and how fantastic it could be!!! 4 person vs 4 person or what we would think best is 8 person party vs another 8 person party in server tournaments and then you could play cross server tournaments this would be so much more successful then the PVP system!!!

blitzball would be the bomb

I'd love some sort of team mini-game/time-sink but please no drownball.

Me and other members of the FC also have had discussions about Blitzball and a card game similar to FFVIII and would love to see both of them in this game. I would prefer a card game first, but either one would be just fine with me. Maybe make an underwater arena in Limsa with a spectator viewing area for Blitzball, that would be cool. As for the card game, monster cards can be rare drops from every mob, even more rare for primals and dungeon bosses, maybe give us a quest to obtain our player card or something. Either way, something new to do when we don't feel like questing etc would be cool.
