Tanking Titan HM

like everyone has mentioned, save your cool downs for MB, i actually dodged MB once or twice, before titan cast MB, it would stop its movement for about half second or so, if you time it right, you might be able to run through him or get to the side of him. but like i said i only done it once or twice maybe it was just fluke.

Make sure you turn the volume up. It really starts rockin after the heart. And turn the the sound effects way down. Very important for zoning. :cool:

Lend me these dps'ers! As an OT, I've done it so much I can safely avoid every single attack, carry a text conversation on my cell, and talk to my LS with nary a scratch while maintaining my rotation.

I'm not saying this to brag, just that I've had that much time to memorize it down to the last, but every single time we get past the heart, everything just goes in the gutter. People don't stack on the gaol for AoE heals, landslide starts knocking people off, healers too busy healing the group to heal tank through mountain buster.
As MT, everything still applies, except I no longer have to dodge...

Just agh! Hopefully get it this weekend lol

Rotation for WAR? Pop IB before each MB. Maybe a cooldown if the healers are struggling. When I help with titan, I hardly ever use cooldowns unless stuff is going sideways.

You cannot screw up and get hit by 2 bombs. If you screw up, you get hit by one because you're too close to that side. The only risk is stepping off the cliff because you tried too hard, and... well, that's pretty hard to do.

If you get in trouble, don't forget Holmgang. You won't be targeted by plumes and are out of range of bombs anyway, so if your healers blow it, you'll still be standing.

More specifically, you want to use IB right as the Landslide animation is finishing. It'll have your IB up for the auto-attack, Rock Buster, and Mountain Buster.

Sorry for the sour response, You won't be able to do this in Duty Finder, I have tried countless times only to lose because people cannot stay alive or cannot destroy the heart phase because nobody listens about Building Limit Break before the first jump happens.

Another thing people get pissed and leave then the party falls apart and you are back at square one, even if people from Party Finder don't know they will lose costing you repairs of 2-3k depending on how long you fight and try.

its gonna be a stroke of luck if you get a good team.

Does hate reset when the heart phase begins and is it possible to move him back to the edge during the heart phase? I was having to reestablish hate last night during this phase and was afraid of losing hate if i moved out of range trying to position him back to the edge.

About 1/4 groups I join succeed. I DF runs for the hell of it (also for loot).

The heart shows a separate aggro table, but Titan doesn't follow it. You should have a solid lead from previous phases and shouldn't need to build aggro at all.
