A piece of advice if you haven't unlocked all the dungeons already.

Only unlock WP to start with. Do Duty Roulette High Level, this will automatically put you in WP since Roulette only puts you in dungeons you have unlocked. 70 myth and 100 philo will make gearing for the harder stuff a LOT easier. Will have a lot of DL and myth within the week.

At the moment the only level 50 dungeons I have unlocked are WP, CM, and TP.

Man LET ME TELL YOU A SECRET. If you are a new tank you should def run CT. Some geared tank will take the main tank role and they will make you play off tank... wich could be made naked... its so easy. Almost no job and at the end you get 200 philo and 50 mytho wich is awesome. Also, you will get instat queues. Just pray you get an awesome team. Good luck!

It did slip my mind last night that WP gives 100 Philos now, but I still personally wouldn't spend gil on ilvl55 crafted gear. It'll last you a couple of days at best before it is replaced. If you're going to spend gil, just spend it on the HQ ilvl70 stuff which will last you weeks if not months. You can run WP regularly as an alternative to CM/Praetorium but both runs will take about 20-30 minutes. Out of respect to others, I wouldn't consider "speedrunning" WP until you have your Darklight armors and a HM Primal weapon. Then again you can always form a premade via Party Finder and just farm with other players from your server. As someone mentioned above, you can also just get carried in CT for a piece of gear during your first week as a 50, its not hard to meet that ilvl requirement.

Either way, the runs are about the same time as a fresh 50, and you're gonna need 30-50 runs (depending on how much Darklight you want).

The ilvl55 crafted gear is an absolute waste of gil.

Do NOT unlock Pharos if you are a fresh 50... The fact that its listed 2nd only to coils on this list means its something you want to avoid until the previous dungeons are on farm mode. (Heck I don't advise running Pharos until after you get relic... Which is sad because its gear drops won't be useful at that point).

PS: That list is pretty spot on for main tanks, but CT for off tanks is probably the easiest dungeon of them all since you don't really have o do anything but tank super weak mini-bosses or touching a pillar everyone now and then

AK is not and never was hard. It was not much of a gear check and even before they nerfed it it was fairly easy to do in near fresh 50 gear.

Start off by getting some level 55 crafted gear to fill out your slots and then farm up WP. Once you get a couple pieces of darklight then if you want you can do some Ifrit or Garuda HM. You can do ifrit no problem at all without any darklight gear and for Garuda I would recommend you get two or three pieces but its not really needed.
As for difficulty I would rank them like this.

CM/Praetorium - WP - AK - HM Haukke - HM Ifrit - HM Copperbell - HM Garuda.

Thanks for the input! I've been bsing pretty hard these past couple days, and aside from doing my second Praetorium run (as off-tank) and some quests to unlock Crystal Tower, I haven't made much progress.

With all the feedback that I have been getting, I'm wondering… should I have some DL gear for WP? I have the DL plate belt, but that's about it right now.

My first few runs of wp I had no dl and my ilvl55 gc weapon...just ask the group to take it slow and you'll be fine :)

Take into consideration WP (and AK as well now) drops l55 gear, so it's supposed to be an upgrade to what you have. It's supposed to be run by a fresh 50 in AF, and honestly when I first ran it I was in such gear and never encountered any problem. :)
