Fresh 50, needs advice.

Now ilevel restrictions have been put on events in DF anyone who comlpains about your gear is automatically being elitist (I hate that word because it's overused and because it's not always a bad thing).

SE have run the numbers. The event can be completed with all the alliance at that ilevel. Most people will be well above it, so the run won't suffer for having a few members at sub-darklight.

With the 200 Phil, 50 Myth per ~60 mins and one i80 piece per week I can't think of a more efficient way to gear a first job up.

I highly recommend doing to the Duty Roulette for the main scenario every chance you get (well, every day for the bonus anyway). As boring as it can get, you'll get 300 philo tomes you can put towards the various DL armors to help gear you up. It makes gearing up a lot faster and you can avoid a bit of the grind that way.
