I would have saved all the lowbie quests for a future of leveling alt jobs. The main story and the appropriate level side quests with some dungeoning for gear can be enough to get you through. If your also staying on top of the hunting log and randomly doing fates when they spawn in your quest/leve hubs it really shouldn't be that bad. Also finding your way into coerthas/mor dhona and fully exploring the map will also help. Every time you un-hide a section of map you get xp scaled based on your current level. It's the absolute truth in free xp ^^
