Vote Kick Almost Useless

Ok If someone is trolling you that's different. But enforcing a 15min wait on people just because of a select few is unfair. What if some people kicks me from the party because I'm on MNK and their Friend is as well, We both need the same piece of gear and they ask me what I rolled and if I'm going to win they kick me so I should have to wait 15mins Hell No!

There should be another way around giving someone a 15min penalty because they afk and get kicked and come back and afk again.

It is not even fair to others that do not troll. What if I have to take a piss or drop a deuce the kind you cant hold in ^^ I say brb and they kick me because they don't want to wait. Had this happen to a friend last night he said brb someone was at the door and they didn't even give him 2 mins and they kicked him.

Idk what they can do but giving everyone a penalty for being kicked is not fair to everyone.

For real? Because someone gets kicked they should have a one hour penalty. WTH if someone shows up to a AK/WP run without a relic/good enough gear and the other people say nope you got to go. Chance are they wont get a relic member but still.

LOL 1hour penalty.....

Vote to kick has been great for getting out of groups without having to deal with the 30 minute penalty.

Sometimes when there isn't a tank for a party, I just leave and instantly get right back in when I switch to tank class. It's easy to reenter a party. Thus, vote kick needs to "blacklist" the party for that player when they're booted.

Kicking someone for that reason is griefing and reportable. They'll likely be suspended, so there's that.

A Timer would suck, sometimes people get kicked for unjust reasons like "Man this guys gear sucks, lets get a new one"... etc. If they do it via timer, it should be short, like 5 minutes or something. Nothing to high.

They just need to make it so the party doing the kicking doesn't get the same person back.

Not true.

Someone came to my front door, and before i could even type AFK/BRB the DPS pulled, and killed everyone, sure enough they complained i should have tanked. (When i needed to hurry to the door before they leave)

Sure enough, they wouldnt have anything to do with it, so they started fighting. We vote kicked them, and sure enough the other DPS started fighting as well, but the healer had to go, and was replaced. The new healer, not knowing the situation, decided to join him in vote kicking me. (being in the middle of the argument, and not having heard what started the fight.)

So, my crime was having to answer the front door, and his was starting fights because they caused a wipe.

Vote kick gets abused enough as it is. There's no reason to extend it past 30mins.

Though it says punishable, its never actually caused anyone to be punished.

Someone from another LS i know abuses it before the last boss (refusing to add members) to get drops.
They never got suspended yet. (Even ppl in his LS report him.)

There should be a 5 minute penalty. Or at least not be able to join the party you were just kicked from for a few minutes.

A vote to kick should be a vote to ban from that group, you don't need to lock someone out of DF just ban them from that particular instance.

So I still get kicked and have to eat the 15min penalty? I don't care if they get suspended. That's not the point there are more than enough reasons not to implement a 15min penalty for getting kicked. If anything they can add a 1min timer so that your "POS tank" doesn't have a chance to get back in.
