Small Plots

I agree. Even in the screenshots linked above, the small plot looks crowded. I can see it being my personal cozy getaway, but I am convinced that my FC should save up for a medium plot.

The workshop is exclusive to large houses only. I doubt we'll be able to do much of anything with a small one other than decorate it.

(I rather wish our FC would try and save up for a large house so we could have the workshop, even if it means taking a year or two to save up enough. Most of the other members think it's beyond what we can do, though, so instead we'll get a house quicker that we can't do anything with.)

Yeah, I'm in Tantalus and we are enjoying the small house for now. Obviously, we are saving up for the large house next, it's just so prohibitively expensive at the moment. Our members wanted to get a taste of the new stuff right away and it has been a lot of fun with all the people visiting. It's been a good recruitment tool as well! The hot tub is a great excuse to get out your swimsuits!

i think too that the small plot is more a personal house than a FC house...
indeed if they had only put the medium and large for FC it will have been a trouble. you do have 7 medium and 3 large house par area, on ragnarok we have 5 area per district... means 150 house for the whole server if they had only put medium and large house for FC.

Currently, though, the houses available are company houses, not personal housing. Personal housing has not been implemented yet. The small houses just seem prohibitively expensive and with limited benefit as a company house for the high price. Were I on one of the legacy servers where the price for a small plot was 40-20 million gil I would never be OK with spending that kind of gil for a small house with the ability to place 1/3 the furnishings of the next larger house and 1/4 that of the largest house.

no Group of people in any world will only rent a small house with one room... it's stupid...

I agree, the small plots and medium plots should be personal housing, and medium and large plots should be for FC.

They say the small plots are for small guilds.. it's a tiny little house with at most 40 items you can put into it. I just don't see a reason to spend as a guild 10 million gil on this little tiny plot of land.

for 10-20 people? Looks like for 5 or less.

Small plots would be a lot nicer if they had at least a basement or upper floor. The inside is just far too small....

They do have large lawns though.
