We can still stun 3 times in a row but the DR timer starts countdown after that 3rd stun instead first stun.

It does slow down the LB build-up but I would just have the stunner make a macro for when he starts to be resisted to warn people to run out of eruption. I almost wiped last night due to a resist on the critical LB/gather behind him for one of the plumes pattern. Guess everyone will have to know the fight better now lol and that is good. I felt like Ifrit was trivialized too much before when it comes to HM Primals. On another note, I think we only got LB2 by time for the nails lol.
It did slow the LB timer considerably, combined with it now resetting between pulls it's a bit more painful.
Probably should do something to help with the limit break building, not sure if that was intended with the stun dr mechanic.
You all realize we have another skill for a Pld to use that isn't stun right? Try using Shield Swipe on eruptions, you just need to do it 2 times in a row between your 3 stun limit to reset the stun timer.
Edit
I feel extra bad for that typo because I play Pld frequently.
I can see the changes to LB building hurting groups with no caster LB, but those with caster LB will be basically unaffected. Burn one nail down, LB the others, mop up the last bit of hp. I'm thinking zero-caster groups will have to burn the first, LB the second, burn the third, LB the fourth?
As far as dodging Eruption, it's no big deal. After all, it used to not be stunable at all. . .
Edit:
Shield Bash is your stun. Maybe you mean Shield Swipe?
You can hit all the nails with a LB2, it's not that hard but you have very little room for error.
LB always used to reset when you aggro'd the primal.Quote:

Anyway Ifrit still isn't a problem, you just have to do it 1.0 style and leave room in the center/back for people to run from eruptions. Since they do less damage getting hit by only one isn't too dangerous.
A neat tactic my group used after the patch was to use auto attack until almost LB 1. Then go all out and you should have LB 3 by nails. and I agree with an earlier post, tell mages stop being lazy and dodge eruption pre-nail. save it for the massive eruptions afterward.
