WHY are we again forced to do fates for quests

I love how misinformed these forums are.

Pre-patch: WOOOH CHANGE, YEAH OBAMAA! CHANGEEE!
Post-patch: *waiting for fate* KILL MEEEEEEE!

I spent like 5 hours of my life today doing these fates, managed to complete three of them, then got to the fourth and got bronze - no reward, and rage quit.
There were hundreds of players alongside me doing these fates, more than I've ever seen in one place, but for 99% of the time we were just messing around in chat.

Yes I indeed saw that they plan to fix them... In the future after they've had their stress test with minimal people actually getting to play the content. If you know what broke, fix it.
It's just like housing, well make it available, just not when we told you we would.

fates take so long to pop... one took over an hour.. another 45ish min.... luckly i had gotten my pup and kitten from aleport quest... kept me occupied
