Shortage of Roegadyn

I chose a male Roe simply because out of all the races, they look the most like me :p

I'm not sure why it's not as popular, but it's a lot more than it was in 1.0. I see more than 5! I don't know what it is about it, but I created myself Hellsguard, have two items to change my char but don't see myself doing that anytime soon. He's too adorable

Fun Fact: Hyur and Humes are the most common races of FFXI and FFXIV (respectively), with Miqo'te just barely beating out Hyur on the NA/EU servers. Galka/Roegadyn are, indeed, the least populace race, though.

Doesnt the lore say something about them being scarce race anyway? or like they live in mountains somewhere and only a few come down? I always thought they looked cool as a race but I play healer classes. They just look so dumb in caster gear. Galka in Scholor garb is hilariously heinous.

I actually see quite many roes on Odin, much more than on beta, at least. Still, it's always a big deal when I bump into another female roegadyn, I always stop whatever I was doing, zoom a little bit to take a look at the character's face, maybe give them a poke or a wave and continue on. n_n Male roes are ok, but females are just gorgeous. There's so many female characters in this game that look like teenagers, so it's a nice change to have a more mature looking ladies. ;)

I play a Female Roe. Since well my missus is a very tall woman and I like tall women. :)

But now that you meantion it. The NPC are also lacking in Roes. Maybe it is due to lore?

it was this reason i changed to a m-roe, started as a m-miq and was so tired that 80% of my DF groups seem to be all miqote's :3

Actually I know someone who went with Maelstrom affiliation cause of Merlwyb's boobage!

Also, big races are always the least played. I'm actually surprised there isn't more lala healers around instead, since tiny healer is a must in all games, especially for pvp.
