I was under the impression they lifted the restrictions right after the game launched. How else do you explain all the twitch feeds and tutorial videos on youtube?

Make Cure III have a wider AoE radius, more MP than Cure II with a lower cure potency and only 4 yalms isn't that useful. Even if it's just upped to 5y it will be better...
Also make them temporarily set aside Musketeer in favor of pushing Red Mage to the next new job.

I'd fire whoever came up with the idea to launch the game with no vanity system. Then force my team to get off their butts and finish what they should have had done at launch.
Then I would add it. Thats all clothes wearable by all classes, and an option to turn it off for those who just "can't stand" to see a DRG in a SMN robe or whatever the hell they have against it...
After that I would probably add 2.1 on scedule y'know, promises made and all that. Then its straight to designing 2-4-8 man content all day until we have a huge amount for the next update.
In my perfect world anyways...I am sure people could find flaws with my plans but hey you asked lol...
1. I would redesign 2 piece Darklight sets to be 1 piece per slot.
2. I would add dye slots to every piece of gear in the game without one.
3. I would redesign overmelding so that you have a chance to lose the materia on a fail instead of 100% losing it.
4. I would fix the hard coded server timer on checking player xyz coordinates to be near immediate.
5. I would remove myth from the game entirely and make AF 1.5 acquired via Tokens that drop from BCB. Gloves Token on Turn1, Pants Token on Turn 2. I would add a boss to turn 3 and drop Feet Token on Turn 3. Chest Token on Turn 4, and Helm Token on Turn 5. So 3 things would drop from each turn. To compensate the horrific drop rates, I'd move 1/5th of the loot pool on turn 1, 2, 4, 5 to turn 3's new boss. Each turn would drop 2 pieces and an AF 1.5 Token.
6. Relic + 1 would be acquired by clearing BCB on that character
7. I'd change the lockout on BCB to a loot lockout. And you would only be locked on loot if you acquired a piece of gear. Thus allowing you to acquire 1 piece a week and run it as much as necessary to get that one piece (if you should so choose). Even if you acquired loot you'd still be able to run it to help friends etc.
I'd need an army to do this in a day.

The one thing I could do if I had a change?
Change the coil lockout. It's archaic and it ruins FCs and statics. I would probably change it to be like CT.
if I could change one more thing after that... I would remove the echo buff and introduce a piece of code that never allows it in endgame ever.
I'd add a freaking gameguard so that hackers and botters can't easily get through inside the game, seriously SE?! Why you haz no gameguard?
