Materia + catalysts! Keep them Disciple of the Land only!

Catalysts will only be obtainable via gathering methods.

but I belive there will not be any overprice of catalysts if all can do gathering or we are now stuck with the class we choise ?

so what is the different with the new armory system ?

The way the materia explanation was worded, it detailed how all class types have a role in the materia creation process.

Battle classes make the materia from gear and weapons
Harvesters get the catalyst
Crafters infuse gear with the materia using the catalyst.

So basically much won't change with Armoury System, other than changing a few skills.

Also, do catalysts come from nodes only and not free-fishing? They need to be node-exclusive.

Free-fishing has a ton of botters. I'm sure there are bots that can do the nodes of fishing/botany/mining but its a lot less common than the free-fishing bots.
