Okay here are a bunch of random questions

What effects does output and control have on synthesis?

What does it mean "most effective for parts" or "most effective for finished products"?

What synth abilities should I equip for grinding? HQing? for a simple synth like breaking crystals that I need to do a ton of times.

Could you list the best equipment at each rank?

Thanks Alzelia these are great, and actually a lot of these i am already planning to cover too( were on the same page).

I can answer your first partially , output is a gathering ability which has no affect on crafting. A lot of gear have both gathering and crafting stats on them, it sucks from itemization standpoint but i think perhaps it was SE attempt to alleviate inventory problems.

I am planning on listing what these "types" mean, as well as the usefulness of using these abilities out of type( like using abilities designed for "parts" when making finished items etc.) so were good there.

Ability swaps for hqing vs grinding is a great one that i had no included but will, since i do ability swaps all the time.

I'll definitely consider the gear set stuff, certainly i agree i should talk about gear aside from tools(covered in P1).


The stacking abilities topic is another one i've got plans to cover. With some good examples of ability combos.

As for OH/MH when to swap i pretty much go MH unless the OH tool produces HQ ( lots of parts -but not all use OH tool)

A lot of topics that weren't covered in P1 will be gone over in P2 risk/economics/grind compare contrasts between different classes, so hopefully most or all will be answered :)

Keep in mind i might scale back stuff here and there for flow/readability so just keep that in mind. :)

update- keep getting really great feedback which means sections are getting longer,also some rl work piling up, so looks like the guide2 will be pushed into early july.

Does raising element affinity to match the shards used have any affect?

that is a good one, ive seen results that say no. But certainly something i can test out. Like testing no wind affinity vs max, on something that just uses wind shards/crystals. Thanks Atothus.

I saw your video and I have a question.
While you are crafting you use the proper tools for your level (carpenter rank 33) but you wear a hi-lvl equip (dodore doublet for example). Why?
What effects does hi-lvl equip have on low lvl synthesis?
Does the hi-lvl equip work equally? better?
