1) Because LL is the coolest city ;p
2) Merlwyb is as much (or maybe more) a badass as Raubahn Aldynn is. I mean, how many times do you discover safe routes through dangerous seas or sink invincible fleets? on the other hand, To be called "The Bull of Ala Mhigo" ... Its just awesome and they probably kick ass

More so than Kan-e-senna, who will probably just heal the whole alliance to 100% with Curaga VI, cast insane buffs and one shot baddies with never-before-heard Ancient magic, wheres the fun in that?

I rerolled.. Probably Gridania since that's where my new character is from!

So did anyone changed/made up their mind after patch 1.18?

I still haven't decided but I'm probably going to pick either Gridania or Ul'dah. I hope we get the speeches from the leaders before we choose since that would probably be my deciding factor.

Flames all the way! Uldah is the best!
