they are actually wanted to upgrade the Retainer system but it was being pushed back to another patch.

As someone maxing all the DoLs and DoHs, yes, a thousand times over. Please.
I would, however, prefer more retainer inventory slots than another retainer. Given the incoming housing items and PvP gear, doubling our current retainer space would be ideal.

And let us craft from our retainer inventories! I know some people would argue that it's immersion-breaking or unrealistic or whatever, but I'm okay with that since it would be such a vast QoL improvement.

Better yet, have these improvements require a quest. A really difficult series of quests themed after enhancing your retainer.

Yes, I'm hoping that the new changes to the armoire will be for those type of armour/items you've mentioned. I'm sure it will store Crystal Tower at the very least, if not Allagan etc.

It won't. Armoire is only intended to hold Gear that you can only get once, like Event Items or AF. Which makes it more likely I misheard about the Myth Job gear being allowable, and more likely to be AF2 if anything. So, no, no CT gear will go in.

It was intended for that before, but we don't know what these "changes" are that they have made. I guess we will all just have to wait and see really :)

I'm pretty sure you people have an issue with holding on to too many things. If you've already got gear for all classes, when you get the new CT gear you trade the old stuff in for seals. I've got all crafts, ak gear and some gathering and I dont have the issue. When I get CT gear I plan on trading in the AK gear. There's like 400 or 500 spots in inventory plus 25 spots for each piece of gear in armory. There really isn't any excuse.

Actually we do, since I linked them. That's for 2.1, if they add something else in 2.2, we won't know for a while.

Actually in your link they never once say that those listed items are the only ones that can be stored in the armoire. :)

You said they weren't making room for CT items in the Armoire based on a statement where they neither confirmed or denied this fact. Maybe you are the one who needs to read things more clearly eh?
